Mobil Pegasus™ 610 Ultra is a high performance natural gas engine oil designed for the lubrication of modern medium and high speed four-stroke engines operating on fuels containing corrosives such as hydrogen sulfide or halogens (compounds containing chlorine, fluorine, etc.). It is specially developed to cope with highly corrosive gases containing high levels of hydrogen sulfide, which can significantly limit oil drain intervals, and high levels of siloxanes, which when burned, can cause significant wear and reduce engine life.
Mobil Pegasus™ 610 Ultra is a 1.0% sulphated ash, high Total Base Number (TBN) gas engine oil with superior reserve alkalinity, designed to counteract the negative effects of these corrosives on engine components.
Mobil Pegasus™ 610 Ultra provides excellent anti-wear and anti-scuff performance, helping to minimize piston scuffing and cylinder and ring wear. The product is also used to lubricate reciprocating compressors in landfill and biomass gas systems.
Mobil Pegasus™ 610 Ultra has a high level of wear protection that reduces liner wear and significantly extends service and uptime intervals.
